Guns & Gear from SHOT Show 2026 is presented by Palmetto State Armory.
Palmetto State Armory continues to expand beyond budget ARs, and the AXR series is part of that evolution. In this video, we get a look at the AXR platform and what PSA is bringing to the table in terms of features, build quality, and value.
The AXR series targets shooters who want more refinement than PSA's entry-level offerings but don't want to jump to premium pricing. Expect upgraded furniture, improved barrel profiles, and enhanced fit and finish compared to the standard PSA lineup. PSA's strategy of offering more gun for less money has made them one of the highest-volume AR manufacturers in the country, and the AXR is their push into the mid-tier market.
