Holosun has expanded its AEMS rifle-optic lineup with the introduction of the AEMS-EVO and AEMS-EVO DUAL, two compact enclosed optics designed to deliver full-size performance in a streamlined footprint. Announced ahead of SHOT Show 2026, the new models build on the versatility of the original AEMS platform while adding meaningful upgrades focused on visibility, durability, and adaptability.
Both the AEMS-EVO and AEMS-EVO DUAL feature an expanded 1.26 × 0.98-inch viewing window, offering increased situational awareness and faster reticle acquisition during movement, recoil, or unconventional shooting positions. A forward-facing light sensor adjusts reticle brightness based on target lighting conditions rather than ambient light at the shooter’s position, improving transitions between indoor, outdoor, and mixed-light environments.
The optics are built from 7075-T6 aluminum, rated IPX8 waterproof, and tested for 1,000G vibration resistance, ensuring reliability under extended use and harsh conditions. Holosun’s Multi-Reticle System™ allows users to select a 2-MOA dot, 65-MOA circle, or circle-dot configuration, supported by Solar Failsafe™, Shake Awake™, and reticle memory functions.
The AEMS-EVO is designed for shooters seeking the visual performance of a full-size optic in a compact form factor. A side-loading CR2032 battery provides up to 50,000 hours of runtime, and the optic maintains a lower-third co-witness height on the included mount. The EVO is compatible with carbines, PCCs, and defensive rifles, and is available with red, green, or gold reticle options to suit shooter preference and environmental conditions.
The AEMS-EVO DUAL expands the platform by integrating a visible green laser and infrared laser directly into the optic housing. This all-in-one configuration allows shooters to transition between daylight, low-light, and night-vision applications without external laser modules or additional mounting considerations.
Powered by a CR123A battery, the EVO DUAL supports both optic and laser functions while preserving the compact AEMS footprint. The integrated system reduces bulk and alignment issues common with separate accessories, creating a unified aiming solution for professional, defensive, and specialized applications.
Together, the AEMS-EVO and AEMS-EVO DUAL represent a natural evolution of Holosun’s enclosed rifle-optic design. With larger windows, intelligent brightness behavior, and rugged construction, the new models are intended to serve shooters who demand adaptability and reliability across a wide range of rifle configurations and lighting environments.
