For years, suppressor owners have faced the same dilemma: if your rifle has a pinned and welded muzzle device, your suppressor options were either extremely limited or required costly modifications. But what if one mount could solve the compatibility puzzle across multiple suppressors—without giving up your favorite SureFire muzzle devices?
Enter the SureFire Fast Attach Hub—a game-changing solution that bridges the gap between 1 3/8x24 hub-compatible suppressors and SureFire SOCOM muzzle devices, including popular models like the WarComp and SOCOM flash hiders or brakes.
Whether you’re running the RC2, RC3, or any SureFire muzzle device, the Fast Attach Hub allows you to attach a wide array of suppressors without switching out your pinned and welded comp. This is huge for shooters with 14.5" rifles who can't remove their muzzle device—but still want suppressor flexibility.
“Now I can use the suppressors I already have… and I don’t have to give up my pinned WarComp. That’s a big deal.”
The design mimics the lockup and indexing system of SureFire suppressors, so it’s intuitive and secure. The end result? A suppressor that quickly and cleanly attaches to your pinned brake—no gunsmithing required.
Anyone with:
It’s especially helpful for folks with short-barreled rifles (SBRs) or compliance builds where muzzle device removal isn't an option.
On the range, the Fast Attach Hub proved its worth immediately. Swapping a suppressor onto a pinned 14.5” upper that previously required a dedicated SureFire can was now as simple as threading on the hub.
“It’s quieter. More pleasant to shoot. And I didn’t have to change a single thing about my rifle.”
The hub adapter turned what was once a direct-thread-only suppressor into a modular, quick-attach can that now works across multiple setups. That’s flexibility, redefined.
The SureFire Fast Attach Hub is exactly the kind of “why didn’t they make this sooner?” innovation the suppressor market needed. For the modern gun owner with multiple rifles, cans, and pinned comps, this is a must-have accessory.
If you’ve ever been boxed into a suppressor system by a muzzle device—or wished your collection was a little more cross-compatible—this hub opens the door.

The critical detail: this is not an NFA item. You can buy it off the shelf like any other accessory. It threads onto your HUB-pattern suppressor and converts it to the SureFire SOCOM quick-detach interface. Once installed, you attach and remove your suppressor from any SOCOM muzzle device in seconds with no tools.
This isn't a product for everyone. It solves a very specific problem — but if you have that problem, it's a must-buy.
You have a pinned and welded SureFire muzzle device. This is the biggest use case. If you're running a 14.5" barrel with a pinned WarComp or SF3P, you can't swap muzzle devices without a gunsmith. The Fast Attach Hub lets you run any HUB-compatible suppressor on that rifle without touching the muzzle device. That's a game-changer for shooters who built around the SureFire ecosystem and later bought a non-SureFire suppressor.
You own multiple SureFire-equipped rifles. If your AR-15s are all wearing WarComps or SOCOM brakes, the Hub lets you share one HUB-pattern suppressor across all of them with the same fast-attach convenience you'd get from a SureFire can.
You own a HUB-pattern suppressor and want into the SureFire ecosystem. The 1 3/8-24 HUB thread has become an industry standard used by companies like Dead Air, B&T, CGS, and others. If you bought one of those suppressors but your rifles are set up with SureFire muzzle devices, this adapter bridges the gap.
You don't need this if: All your suppressors are SureFire SOCOM cans (they already fast-attach natively), or your rifles don't use SureFire muzzle devices, or you exclusively run direct-thread suppressors and are happy with that setup.
If you're new to the SureFire mounting system, here's how the pieces fit together:
Step 1 — Muzzle device: You install a SureFire SOCOM muzzle device on your rifle. This could be a WarComp (flash hider + compensator), an SF3P (three-prong flash hider), or a SOCOM Muzzle Brake. These thread onto your barrel like any standard muzzle device.
Step 2 — Fast Attach Hub installation: Thread the Fast Attach Hub onto the back of your HUB-pattern suppressor using the SureFire spanner tool. Torque to 35 ft-lbs. This is a one-time installation — once the Hub is on your suppressor, it stays there.
Step 3 — Attach to rifle: Slide the suppressor (now wearing the Hub) over the muzzle device. It indexes on a built-in slot for proper alignment. Rotate the lock ring at the base until it clicks. Done — no tools, a few seconds, rock-solid lockup.
Step 3 — Detach: Rotate the lock ring back and slide the suppressor off. That's it.
The interface is identical to how SureFire's own SOCOM suppressors (RC2, RC3, etc.) attach to their muzzle devices. Same dimensions, same tolerances, same lockup feel. If you've ever used a SureFire can, this will feel completely familiar.
What suppressors are compatible with the Fast Attach Hub?
Any suppressor with a 1 3/8-24 thread pattern on the back (commonly called HUB or Bravo mount). This includes cans from Dead Air, B&T, CGS Group, and many others that use this increasingly common industry standard. If you're unsure whether your suppressor is compatible, check the rear thread specification in your owner's manual or on the manufacturer's website.
Do I need any special tools to install the Fast Attach Hub?
Yes — you need the SureFire Spanner Tool (part number Z-72636) to thread the Hub onto your suppressor and torque it to 35 ft-lbs. This is a one-time installation. After that, attaching and detaching the suppressor from your rifle is completely tool-free. Note: the spanner tool has been difficult to find in stock at times, so order it when you order the Hub.
Does the Fast Attach Hub add length or weight to my suppressor?
Yes, it adds approximately 5.3 ounces and a small amount of length (roughly 1.5") to your suppressor. For most shooters, the added weight is negligible compared to the convenience of quick-detach capability across multiple rifles.
Will the Fast Attach Hub work with a pinned and welded WarComp?
Yes — this is exactly the problem it was designed to solve. You don't need to modify or remove your pinned muzzle device. The Hub-equipped suppressor slides over the WarComp (or any SOCOM muzzle device) and locks into place just like a native SureFire suppressor would.
Is the Fast Attach Hub an NFA item?
No. The Hub is just an adapter — it's not a suppressor, silencer, or any other NFA-regulated item. You can buy it online or at any dealer that carries SureFire products without any special paperwork, background checks, or wait times.
Fast Attach Hub vs. direct-thread — which is better?
Direct-thread mounting is simpler and lighter, but it requires you to thread the suppressor directly onto your barrel (and you need a threaded barrel with no permanent muzzle device). The Fast Attach Hub gives you quick-detach capability, which is faster to deploy and means you can share one suppressor across multiple rifles without hassle. If you shoot suppressed on multiple platforms, the Hub system saves significant time and money compared to buying a dedicated can for each rifle.
